Submit Your Film for Filmfest DC 2012

Submissions period: November 2011 – February 1, 2012

Thank you for your interest in Filmfest DC 2012. Our 26th Annual festival will take place April 12 – 22, 2012.

If you are interested in submitting your film, please follow the instructions below:

1. Download the application form.
2. Complete and send application with the following materials:
1. Check, International Money Order, or Bank Draft made payable to Filmfest DC for $15 (films under 30 min) or $30 (films 30 min and over)
   OR
   Paypal payment confirmation
2. DVD Screener of film or URL for online screener
3. Press Kit and/or complete cast & crew list
4. High Resolution images on flash drive or CD or a URL to download
5. Brief synopsis of film
6. Press Reviews in English if available
7. DVD or URL for trailer if available
3. If you would like a confirmation of receipt or materials back after submission period, please include the following in your application package:
1. Self-addressed and pre-paid postcard for Receipt Acknowledgement
2. Self-addressed and pre-paid envelope for Materials Return

Now accepting electronic applications

If all your materials are available in electronic formats, including your screener, you can email your application. Just follow the steps above with the following edits:

1. Pay your submission fee using Paypal and write down your confirmation information. Include this in the body of the email.
2. Email filmfestdc@filmfestdc.org with attachments and/or links to all required materials. (see full list above and on application.
3. Make sure the subject of your email reads: Submission FFDC2012 "FILM TITLE"
4. Remember to include your confirmation information of Paypal payment in the body of your email.
