Thank you for your interest in volunteering to support Filmfest DC's Arabian Sights Film Festival. The festival will take place from Friday, October 9th through Sunday, October 18th 2009.

We ask volunteers to sign up for two volunteer shifts during the festival. Volunteer duties include ticket sales and will call; ushering and crowd control; and audience award ballot collection and tabulation. Arabian Sights Film Festival volunteers will receive one free ticket to a regular screening and a free t-shirt as a thank you for their volunteerism. Volunteers' names will automatically be placed on an official volunteer list. As long as each volunteer honors the volunteer shifts they have signed up to work, they can claim their one free ticket by calling (202) 274-5782. The receptionist will place your name on the comp list to see the film of your choice. However, you must call at least 24 hours in advance and some shows may be sold out. To pick up your ticket, arrive at the theater 15 minutes prior to show time and head to the Will Call table - otherwise your seat will be sold.
